A bite plane can be incorporated into a Hawley Retainer when additional control of the occlusion is prescribed. Depending on the treatment objective, the appliance may include an anterior, inclined, or posterior bite plane.
Each bite plane is fabricated to the doctor's specified design and clinical requirements.
