Bilateral tubes run from a Nance button to the molar bands; a coil spring and lock on each tube pushes the molars distally. Once the molars are where you want them the lock is set and the appliance becomes the holding arch.
Tell us the activation you want and which teeth carry the anchorage. Premolar bands or bonded rests are both fine.
