3D bands available

Printed bands. Same appliance.

Send a scan instead of impressions and the bands are laser sintered to fit from the file, with the rest of the appliance built as usual. No separators, no band-fitting appointment, and the bands seat first time.

Send us a case

Scan or impressions, a bite where the design needs one, and a signed prescription. If anything on the Rx is left open, a technician calls your practice before the case is started.

Download the Rx form or call 866-437-4361.

A MARPE carries the expansion screw on a body that is anchored to the palate with mini-screws, so the force goes into bone rather than tipping the molars. That is what makes skeletal expansion possible in late adolescents and adults without surgery.

We build to your screw system and placement plan. Send the cone beam so the body can be designed to the palatal vault and the intended screw sites, and tell us the number of eyelets. Bands or a bonded body, and a tongue crib if you want one, are all options.

Commonly prescribed for

  • Transverse maxillary deficiency in late adolescents and adults
  • Airway cases where widening the nasal floor is the goal
