This appliance is designed digitally and printed, then finished at the bench. The thickness is the thickness you prescribed at every point, and the file is kept, so a replacement is the same appliance again.

Designed on your scan with the occlusion set against the opposing arch, then printed in KeySplint Hard. The result is a rigid guard with consistent thickness everywhere you specified it, no pressure-formed thin spots and no processing shrink.

KeySplint Hard is a purpose-made splint resin — abrasion resistance reported equal to lab-processed Lucitone 199, stain resistant, and rigid enough for heavy bruxers where a softer material would not hold up. Clear or tinted.

Because the design file is kept, a lost or worn guard is reprinted exactly, without a new impression.
