Digital · 3D printed partials

The partial with no framework.

A metal-free removable partial designed on your scan and printed in flexible resin. Teeth in the VITA shade you choose, gingiva in matched pink, retention built into the base — and nothing showing when the patient smiles.

Why printed, why flexible

What changes when there is nothing to cast.

  • No metal. No clasps to show.

Retention is designed into the flexible base against the scanned undercuts. There is no framework and nothing metallic in the smile line.

  • Even tissue contact

The base is printed to the scanned ridge rather than adapted by hand, so contact is even from the start — fewer sore spots, fewer adjustment visits.

  • Light enough to forget

A flexible printed base is a fraction of the weight of a cast framework. Patients report better comfort and speech, and that they stop noticing it.

  • Two appointments

Records and shade, then delivery. No framework try-in, no wax try-in unless you want one.

  • Shaded, not generic

Teeth are printed in the VITA shade you specify and the gingiva in a matched pink, then bonded, cured together and polished.

  • Identical on remake

The design file stays with the case. A replacement is the same partial, reprinted, without a new impression.

vs. a cast framework
No metal, no clasps, lighter, and a fraction of the chair time to seat — at the cost of the rigidity a long-span case sometimes needs.
vs. a traditional flexible partial
The same comfort and aesthetics, but designed digitally and printed rather than injected — consistent fit, precise tooth position, and reproducible.

Who it suits

Where a flexible printed partial is the right call.

  • Limited-span partial edentulism, where a cast framework is more appliance than the case needs
  • A transitional partial that holds the space and the smile while implants integrate
  • The patient who will not wear metal, or for whom a cast framework is not the right spend
  • A first partial for someone who has never worn one — light, and easy to get used to

Long spans and cases that need a rigid major connector are still framework cases. Tell us the situation and we will say so.

Scan, shade, deliver.

Send the scans and the shades and the partial comes back ready to seat. Ask for a try-in if you want one; most cases do not need it.
