Herbst-Type
Sleep Herbst
Bilateral telescoping arms, no midline connection — so the jaw still moves and the patient can still speak. Advanced 1/8 mm at a time, up to 4 mm.
Herbst-Type
The telescopic Herbst with a snap-fit arm assembly — hard acrylic, built to hold up to the patient who grinds.

Removable · Scan or impression
Scan or impressions, a bite where the design needs one, and a signed prescription. If anything on the Rx is left open, a technician calls your practice before the case is started.

Same mechanism as the Sleep Herbst: bilateral telescoping arms, nothing across the midline, so the jaw still moves laterally and the patient can still speak. What changes is the arm assembly. The snap-fit hardware seats and releases without dismantling the mechanism, which makes chairside work faster and gives you fewer parts to lose.
This one is built in hard acrylic only. That is deliberate — the snap-fit assembly wants a rigid body behind it, and hard processed acrylic is what gives the appliance its working life.
